Living out your values challenge

Discovering your values and finding ways to incorporate your values into your day-to-day life is a way to live intentionally.

Every person’s values will be unique and reflect what’s important to them. According to Brene Brown, they are ” principles or standards of behavior,” “ a way of being or believing that we hold most important.” Here are a few ideas for challenges to lean into your values as a team:

  1. Discover your values by performing this value sort: https://personalvalu.es/personal-values-test
  2. Write down values, share them in a team meeting, and post them in a visible spot in your workspace.
  3. Make a digital values board. Team members will post pictures, words, or drawings of their personal values and how they relate to the team’s values. Use: https://www.canva.com/create/vision-boards/ or a Microsoft whiteboard in Teams (https://it.utah.edu/node4/posts/2021/february/whiteboard.php)
