Ten minutes to pause, reset, and reconnect — daily, guided sessions for movement and mindfulness during the workday.

Program overview

Take a Breather offers brief, 10‑minute virtual sessions designed to fit into real schedules. Sessions are optional and flexible — join with your camera on or off, actively participate or simply be present. No experience required.

Why it matters

Even brief pauses can calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and improve focus. This program focuses on small, repeatable practices that are easy to adopt and maintain.

  • Sessions are led by members of our employee wellness team at the Osher Center for Integrative Health.

Examples: stretching, posture resets, and desk-friendly mobility exercises.

Mindfulness


Guided breathing and short mindfulness practices to calm the nervous system and refocus attention.

Examples: breathwork, grounding techniques, brief reflections.
